Marketing Coordinator - International - (Part-Time)

Position Purpose

Under general supervision, the Marketing Coordinator International provides integral support to the communications and development of Delicato Family Wines global business for the International Sales department.  This position will provide administrative support, coordination and project assistance to the International sales and marketing team including business communications, asset organization, activity organization and other assigned projects.

Essential Duties

  • Supports international sales managers through coordinating presentation, sample requests, quotation holds, and hospitality forms
  • Coordinates support materials for new business/monopoly proposals
  • Coordinates wine show participation and competition entries through event sign up, data entry, samples consolidation, and asset needs
  • Oversees POS fulfillment site and inventory including uploading POS, procurement, managing seasonal ordering, reporting and general administration/troubleshooting
  • Assists and gathers materials for brands and country initiatives (i.e., wine competition entries, score re-caps, sell sheets, etc.)
  • Updates and manages international brand assets website
  • Supports creation of incremental support materials for International market needs (i.e., updated tasting sheets, creating bottle images, sell sheets, etc.)
  • Working closely with PR and sales team to organize press mailings
  • Oversees customer websites and brand based social media sites to ensure up-to-date with current messaging and imaging
  • Supports the develop of international communications to include e-newsletter and news updates for international customers and sales team, communicating relevant business updates and highlights.
  • Regularly updates and organizes international intranet (CORKS) with relevant files and documents
  • Manages international trade and media contact list
  • Coordinates hospitality travel/accommodation arrangements when necessary including, but not limited to, coordinating air/hotel/ground transportation, meals, meetings, conferences, conventions, and distributor events
  • Completes detailed research projects for sales and marketing team on a variety of subjects including social media, market trends, customer preferences, POS procurement, and channel evaluations 
  • Assists the Director International Operations and Business Development and Associate Marketing Manager on a variety of marketing projects including sales and marketing support materials such as brand standard guidelines, trade database development, and wine education materials.
  • Serves as an intermittent backup to front door building access using computer-based intercom security system
  • Processes outbound international shipments; includes preparing packages for delivery, computing proper postage, and ensuring regulatory compliance

Non-Essential Duties

  • Provides general support to the International Marketing team and the VP/GM International
  • Assists with sales meetings and travels as necessary
  • Assist with hospitality events or meetings in person

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing, or related subject required OR minimum of 2 years of related experience will be considered
  • International and/or wine industry experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Fluent oral and written communications in English
  • Strong computer skills, MS preferred (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives well under pressure and in a fast-paced, changing environment

Certificates and Licenses

  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance required
