Seasonal Housekeeper at Coppola Winery
Position Purpose
Under close supervision, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
Functional Responsibility
Essential Duties
- Ensures the public and private areas of the winery are clean and well maintained
- Performs daily laundry and housekeeping operations efficiently and safely
- Communicates effectively with all members of House Staff, Laundry and Supervisors
- Responsible for operations of all laundry equipment and performs all duties; sorting, processing, cleaning, pressing, folding
- Performs all housekeeping duties; sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, pool cushions and shower curtains
- Launders napkins, pool towels and staff uniforms
- Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment within the Laundry facilities and around the property
- Keeps storage, laundry rooms in clean and orderly condition

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School diploma, GED equivalent, or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to effectively manage time and tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers verbally and in writing
- Ability to make sound decisions that comply to company policies when dealing in adverse situations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with work schedule and daily duties
- Ability to maintain positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with clients, carriers, coworkers and management
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variations

- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Work in close quarters or confined spaces
- Exposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment
