Expeditor (Seasonal)
Work Location Geyserville
Position Purpose
Under general supervision, the Expeditor sets the pace and flow of pick up in the kitchen. This role ensures that guest orders only leave once all orders are assured. Performs quality control inspections and builds relationships to ensure smooth timing with hot and cold lines.
Essential Duties
- Communicates with staff in the kitchen, under the guidance of the Chef and Food and Beverage Manager
- Ensures food that leaves the kitchen is to the quality prescribed
- Communicates with dining room personnel
- Ensures all food items are accountable according to the POS check
- Correctly handles and covers food according to hygiene regulations
- Manages food dispense in the room ensuring each guest receives the correct item
- Stocks station and completes all delegated side work

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School diploma, GED equivalent, or equivalent experience
- Must have previous high paced restaurant expeditor experience
Certificates and Licenses
- ServSafe® Certification
- TIPS Certification or Certified within 90 days of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic English speaking and reading skills desired
- Understandings restaurant service flow
- Ability to focus and stay in control

Working Conditions
- General restaurant environment
- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variations
- Work in close quarters or confined spaces
- Exposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment
